Build Limits

Production build limits for concurrency, queues, timeouts, generated code ownership, and deploy expectations.

Codebase builds run through a bounded queue so generated apps stay predictable under launch traffic. These limits explain what happens before, during, and after a build.

Concurrency

Production workers accept up to 5 concurrent builds by default. Additional builds wait in the queue.

Queues

Queued builds preserve session state and emit progress once a worker starts processing the request.

Timeouts

The outer build turn has a 15 minute wall-clock timeout. Sandbox build phases default to 3 minutes.

Ownership

Generated project files belong to the signed-in project owner and can be edited, exported, published, or deleted by that account.

Deploy expectations

Publish actions require sign-in, successful build output, deploy credentials where needed, and a domain/CDN path that passes validation.

Version control

Workspace branch history and last-good rollback controls stay available after build output is produced.

When a build fails

  • Retry transient queue, provider, or network failures from the workspace.
  • Edit the prompt when the generated app needs different requirements rather than a rebuild of the same input.
  • Download logs when a failure needs support or deeper local debugging.
  • Contact support with the build reference when retries keep failing.
